Visited at 8:30 am. Anne K. checked us in and was very nice and welcoming. The dining area was bright and clean. Buffet was clean, the food was tasty and fresh. Staff replenished the buffet at regular intervals. Illy coffee machines are great. I prefer this "satellite" lounge over the big United lounge in Terminal C. Solid 4 stars. I reserve the 5th star for premium lounges like Lufthansa or Singapore.
Important: If you are headed to Air Canada, budget 1 hour after you exit the lounge. EWR is weird, specially if you have cross terminals. You will need a bus. And then go through security again. Even if you are in the lounge in Terminal A, you may still have to exit and go to security again if you fly internationally via Air Canada.

I haven't been to the club. But due to missing my connection because plane arrived late. Comfortable chairs. Nice selection of foods. Clean and inviting.
I loved this lounge. It had 2 business rooms and 3rd room in the bar/snack area. It had hot soup, cheese, nice salads, salami and full bar.
The bad: Food sucks. In the name of food there are a couple of soups (both have meat), some leaves and chopped peppers for salad, raw veggies and some deserts. If you are a vegetarian, that leaves some carrots and cheese for you. If you are a vegan...well, there are some carrots and leaves for you!
Great Staff, friendly and attentive. Soup and Salad bar was decent, and in addition to the courtesy house Pinot and Chardonnay wines they had some nice "upcharge" Reds!
The Average: Ok'ish drinks.
free pass. But not recommend paying for it, unless you don't have any other choice.
Ugly: This is not worth the money (for vegans/vegetarians, specially). First time using a lounge in USA, so have no comparison point. But comparing it with lounges in India, Singapore and UAE, this would be ranked lowest. But then, you don't expect much from US based Airlines.
The Good: Close to Terminal A. Clean. Not so crowded. Wifi is pretty good. Decent Coffee.
