If I could give 0 stars I will. First, its now November, and I have had bugs in my apartment since the day I moved in in August. Nothing has been solved and the management are rude and condescending, claiming it was us. But now they believe us after 5 treatments and now there are bugs on the entire floor of the building. Also, they say they have nice amenities, but they are DEAD WRONG. You would think an elevator should be necessary, but they think otherwise. One has been broken for 2 months. They also think that providing a printer is enough, and you have to bring your own paper. And the gym equipment is always broken, I'd say less than half of the equipment works at any given time. Through no fault of my own, there are many things breaking in my apartment, my stove burners didn't work, my shower head broke off the wall, the couch was broken when we moved in. Save yourself the time and a hell of a lot of money and STAY CLEAR OF THIS HELLHOLE. I can't get out of my lease to move.
If you think it is cheaper to live here than it is on campus, it is not - because they find every way to charge you hidden fees amd screw you over with paying for things to be fixed in your room. I don't know a single person who has lived here (this is my third year returning) who doesn't have plenty of horror stories of dealing with the staff. The staff do not care about helping you, nor do their bosses. I cannot stress that if you decide to live here, it will only be a matter of time until they screw you over as they have many others time and time again. If you are lucky, the room you are assigned will be in a livable condition when you arrive. Every room has something broken in it that you will have to pay for, and wait several weeks to get fixed. Also, NEVER EVER sign their 12 month lease, take the 9 month lease, and when the time comes, extend you lease for the summer. When you sign the 12 month lease, you have to pay a flat rate for your room each month. If you decide to take the 9 month lease, and extend for another 3 months for the summer, the flat rate for those three months drops over 600 dollars. But they wont tell you that, cause money.
Worst experience living there. They enter your room whenever they want and violate the lease. They will also charge you an arm and a leg when you move out. Stay away far away from this place
The WORST apartment I have ever lived in! They will charge one extra month rent for each yearly contract(no idea if it is true for 6 month contract). Your 1st payment will be 1st of Aug. although you move in at the end of Aug. According to them, they are 'splitting' that money into 12 months (for what? make the rent look cheaper?). Also, they will fine you for what they can.
Horribly overpriced, rude and unhelpful staff, for the entire semester the elevators have been broken, and the semester before that the main entrance to the building was closed for over a semester. Half the people who love here smoke pot making the entire building smell but management doesn't care. The only reason they stay in business is because of the convenience but it is not worth it.
