The place has a warm environment, the servers are very nice and proffesionals, the food is exquisite. Even I'm from Ecuador I did love their different taste. The music is soft and varied. I really recommend Sabor Unido. And they also have delivery service. :)
Came across from New York with family to do some shopping and dining on Ferry Street... decided to grab early dinner around 4:30 p.m. at this place that was Portuguese Brazilian Cuisine but clearly the owners and staff were Brazilian... not a great experience.. waiter forgot one of our appetizers... they said they did not have any wine except for this red ghetto juice that we tried so they recommended that we go across the street to the liquor store and buy wine ourselves and bring back which according to the waiter was common practice LOL... then later they had ran out of bread and had somebody go get some and they never returned with any!!! Around 5 p.m. they turned off half the ceiling lights because the waiter said the owner wanted to conserve energy although one of the lights we're above our table so we nearly ate in the dark... the seafood and fish were spiny and slimy.... not everything was readily available on the dessert menu and this was a little after 5:30 p.m.!!! Roughly spend $30 a head plus additional 30 bucks on wine from liquor store across the street!!! Stay away fellow NY!!! Definitely do research and read reviews before going to any place around Ferry Street

Every time I come here I find a new dish that I love the food is great it does take some time but the food is definitely worth the wait.
I was looking for a BYOB restaurant in Newark; read the reviews for this restaurant and looked no more – beyond tasty! I liked most that the food was prepared healthy – oven roasted ribs, Brazilian chicken appetizer, grilled squid…Mmmm. Refreshing to see a family business run smoothly, that all working/serving with a smile and a desire to make your experience unforgettable. If you’re looking for a cozy unpretentious restaurant with food that won’t disappoint then run don’t walk to Sabor Unido.
