i love this little area its very pretty, they have statues and flower arrangements and little burger joints in the middle of the park. they even have activities like story/poetry readings and little tables for people to sit. Many bus stops and light rail connects.
This little park has come a long way. Good place to sit read a book or just look at people going about their business
On a nice day, you can sit outside comfortably, there are tables and umbrellas. There are outlets stationed all around, outside, in the area so you can plug up your electronics. There are foam shapes outside for the kids to play, certain days have certain weekly events, like yoga, live entertainment and movie night in the park, you have to check the outdoor board. They've added outdoor bookshelves for free reading. Also, there is a
Small patch of greens and trees nestled in Newark. There is reliable - at least for the time I was there - WiFi for free and chairs/tables all over to sit and eat. Clean area is definitely a bonus and makes for a great option to have lunch or just relax for a bit before moving on with your day. There's also a detailed statue at the center of the park with flowers arranged in an anchor that makes me curious to check out what happened in Newark in the past. Over all lovely nice spot so long as the weather permits
