Great park to run, the running path is very challenging with up and down hills, will sure test your endurance. Beautiful views of the lake to encourage you and for you to enjoy with your loved ones
The park is getting safer and better maintained. When I first moved to the area I heard many frightening stories about what goes on in the park and I was too scared to go on my own, these days the park is receiving much needed TLC and you can feel and see the difference it's making in the community. There are some areas that need to be maintained, but hopefully things will continue to improve. I hope to continue seeing the park "blossom" into something great.
The music and entertainment in the park that day was awesome and delightful. Great outdoor activity place. Could have more Police visibility in the area and certain parts of the Park. Certain parts and areas participate in Drug activities . On Elizabeth Ave, going towards Meeker Ave.
Always has a good scenery if you like taking pictures and pretty well kept. No fountains anywhere (not that I would use if there was) but just for your info. Perfect for jogging and exercise if thats something you are looking into.
The trail in this park is great for walking & running. It has turf so it's easy on the knees. No hard pavement like other parks. The workout that the terrain gives you is awesome!
