About time Newark gets a proper pet shop. It's located inside the huge renovated Hahnes building across from a gorgeous, historic, almost 300 year old church. The Petco staff is friendly and very helpful. They stock all top cat food brands that I used to buy on Amazon exclusively. I feel good supporting business in Newark. There's no reason for any Newark (or neighboring city residents) to continue shopping at any other faraway Petco (closest one I think is West Orange). There's so much shopping to do in downtown Newark. Whole Foods is on the corner on the same block. They also have a great dog grooming service (I stood and watched), as well as cats up for adoption. Glad that big businesses are investing in Newark.
Great Dog Trainer!! They have THEE best staff super helpful. Carolina shes my dog trainer, she knows literally everything about dogs its amazing. We actually switched my dogs food to Canidae from kibbled n bits she told us all about nutrition AND we got a training class which is going TERRIFIC! HUGEE Selection. Highly recommended store compared to others ive been to.
Great supplies for all your pets. I have 3 cats and this places is perfect for me to buy the things I need. This store has a massive selecting for dog supplies and food everything you may need.
This is a great pet store. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff! Very clean, I brought my dogs here to use the self wash and it was very easy and convenient.
