The woman could care less that I told her I was a huge fan and had been told on a previous visit that such an exchange would not be a problem.

I preface this by saying that I own 50 Swatches and love all that the brand and its lauded service represent. From swapping batteries to buffing watch faces all of my experiences have been excellent. Until today.
Specifically the indifferent and flat out terrible customer service related to the exchange I attempted to make on an unopened brand new watch my wife had given me for my birthday.
Very disappointed that this is how they treat their good customers.
I specifically arrived early at Newark Airport to make this exchange and promptly provided several receipts and the original, unopened package. They refused to make an exchange that would be for less than the amount of the watch I was returning and refused to provide a gift card.
