Nice hotel. For overnight stays easy access to the airport and back. Not much else near hotel but parking areas. Hotel breakfast was good and room was comfortable and clean.

I had the pleasure of staying here for 4 nights. The breakfast was amazing because it had a wide variety. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The shuttle service was an extreme plus. The drivers are really nice people and are very punctual. Room was very spacious. Comfortable beds. Everything was so perfect for me. Will definitely be coming back in the future!

We had a room with 2 queen beds and it is quiet as it is at the end of the hallway. The room is spacious but a bit run down. The AC kept coming on and off which sometimes woke us up. Also the ventilating fan in the bathroom is extremely noisy.

This place is pretty low brow. The coffee machine is in the bathroom, my sheets were stained, milk for coffee was rotten, breakfast was stale.. Leaves a bad taste in your mouth literally and figuratively

The hotel itself is quite nice. Clean rooms, everything works and a nice, helpful staff. HOWEVER, there are no full service convenience stores close by - just a tiny one in a walk in closet sized room at the hotel next door (about a quarter of a mile walk) that didn't stock beer, wine or even tomato juice! It costs $25 each way to take a cab to a decent store less than a mile away. The restaurant/bar doesn't open until 4:30 pm, so you need to bring lunch supplies and liquor with you to the hotel when you check in. The location is industrial, drab and filthy. Trash everywhere! Of course, you wouldn't really notice unless you had to walk to the hotel next door to look for supplies. There IS a restaurant/bar in that same hotel next door which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but my husband is arthritic and can't walk that far so it wasn't an option. Lastly, the free shuttle to "Penn Station" doesn't go to New York, it only goes a short distance away, to the Newark Penn Station!! Basically, after you check in at this Best Western you are STUCK there for the duration unless you are an avid walker or can afford to throw money away on cab rides!

We chose this hotel mainly because it is close to airport and they offer free shuttle to airport and Newark Penn Station which made it easier for us to commute to New York for sightseeing during the day.
