IT'S JUST PLAIN TERRIBLE. I've Been going there since 2012 and after 2015 with the new ownership I believe, it went down hill. They are very rude, very nasty service, & they seem to not want anyone in there that isn't of their culture.
If I could not give any stars I would. Negative or zero. The ham was stale, and they messed up a simple Ham and cheese sandwich. The steak was overdone and rubbery and none of the fat was rendered. They didn’t even ask how we wanted the steak prepared, which reflects on the manager. Once we complained, the manager was rude and defensive and she even said she would call the police on us, which as customers we found demeaning and disrespectful. The customer service was terrible, and this is not the fault on the waitress but the manager. Will not ever eat here again.
I found sagres in 2012. However between then and now I don't know what has been going on with management or ownership. So from 2012 to 2015 it was great! But then the service and clientele changed as well. so I decided not to go back for a while however I finally went back this year and it and not a good experience so I said one more time and that was for my girlfriend's birthday dinner however that was a great evening the service was wonderful the people will great behind the bar and the clientele was great as well I recently went back again I believe a week later and it was even better. So I look forward to going back to check it out.
I was just there about 4 weeks ago, it was terrible.
If you saw my other review please do not think I am contradicting myself it is the same story just with a different Outlook because it changed in my eyes from that time to a week ago. This is what I see and have experienced now. Hopefully as I said at the end of this review sagras will remain the same.
If you order food. Speak very clearly and make sure they understand what you ask for. Got 3 things wrong on my ordes last time i went. Its a small but decent place otherwise. The DJs for kareoke are hit or miss. But the sangrea is very good, best part actually.
Oh!!! and I must say the karaoke guy that comes on Saturdays he's great, good at what he does and it's karaoke with no pressure, just pleasure. I did karaoke and I enjoyed myself! The food was also
Simply delicious. This location is perfect for seafood and a delicious sangria. Great for couples, family and night out with friends. Add Sagres to your night out list.
I will never go back there unless there's a whole different management or ownership.
I just hope it stays as it is.
The overall Ambiance isn't the same especially since Charles the DJ isn't there anymore.
